Charly was scheduled for surgery today to get a G-tube (feeding tube in her tummy), and possibly a Nissen (a stomach surgery that prevents reflux)...However, due to an invalid test...the surgeon did not feel it was in Charly's best interest to move forward with the surgery.
After hours of deliberation between Dr's, Surgeons & John and I...the plan is to wait one week or less...repeat her swallow study, and plan for surgery before NOV 30th. I am sad that it has been delayed....and we are still hoping and praying she is home before Christmas!!
As the holidays approach, we want u to know we are so thankful for all that we have, for our blessings, and for the love of an Eternal Heavenly Father.
